IVA - how will it affect my credit rating?

An IVA will be listed on your credit file with different information providers. This information will show that you have entered into an IVA. Once it has been completed you will be issued with a certificate of due compliance stating that it has been completed satisfactorily. You will need to send this to the credit reference agencies who will then register your IVA as satisfied and this will stay on record for a further six years.
