A recent report showed thousands of people are being conned and evicted from their homes by a new type of loan shark. In these stressful times, families are falling prey to over a thousand companies on the market offering to sell and rent back their homes. These companies make their money by asking for inflated rents, offering only a short tenancy and ultimately forcing families out so that the companies can resell the homes.
IVA expert, Sarah Walford, from Revivalforyou.co.uk is suggesting that if people find themselves in financial difficulty they should look for advice sooner rather than later and be wary about companies offering this principle. There may be better alternatives that do not put their homes at risk.
